Supported inputs and limitations
Supported input
FeatureCollection, Feature, or a bare Polygon or MultiPolygon. Positions must contain exactly two finite numbers. The product limit is 10 MiB (10 × 1024 × 1024 bytes); this is a conservative policy, not a measured capacity guarantee.
Skipped or rejected
Point, MultiPoint, LineString, MultiLineString and GeometryCollection are skipped. Collections are not recursively expanded. Null geometry and empty top-level coordinate arrays are skipped. Z/M dimensions are skipped; mixed dimensions and malformed rings are parse failures. Legacy crs members cause a file-level rejection.
Outside scope
No automatic repair, CRS validation, cross-feature topology, map editing, Shapefile/GeoPackage import, archives, URL import, accounts or cloud storage. Input is never automatically closed, simplified or reprojected.
Browser and performance status
Use a modern desktop browser and a secure origin (HTTPS or local loopback). Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari each require recorded acceptance before support is claimed. Mobile devices and older browsers are not validated. Large-file benchmarks are isolated experiments and do not increase the public size limit.
